6 Hats Proof of Concept

Using Edward de Bono's Six Thinking Hats methodology, each student was tasked with creating a proof of concept SMART Board application for the demographic of our choosing. I choose K-6, targeting youth to become familiar with the methodology using multiple directions. Sections of my POC included a children themed story allowing young students to become familiar with the concept, a game encompassing the 6 Thinking Hats methodology and finally an in classroom component that an instructor could use with the aid of the SMART Board technology and the classroom to guide discussions.
GAMEBOY Flex Application

This was a Flex4/AS3.0 Flashbuilder application created to showcase 3 different perspective videos of the GAMEBOY model that I created. Play/Pause controls the video where the side buttons control which perspective video you are watching. The design was based upon the branding and colour scheme of the current Nintendo website.
Canadian Tire Touch Screen UI

The goal of this project was to create a user friendly UI for use in a large retail store on a touch screen tablet (presumably mounted to the customers shopping cart).
Media Streaming Application

Actionscript 3.0 - Practice in streaming video through different channels. The demo was meant to be an iPhone application that would allow the user to drop video content into slots that would be loaded upon touching the button for which ever video the user wished to view.
Comic Wizard iPhone Application

Comic Wizard is an iPhone application (flash demo) designed to be a one stop shop for everything and anything comic book related. The application allows users to read, organize/share comic books as well as find comic book shop locations through a connection to Google Maps
Imagine - Mixed Media Assignment

Long time ago, in a small town, far far away... before all of the time spent dabbling in Multimedia applications, perfecting the skill, there was simple, pure, and raw inspiration. From this Imagine was created. A mixed media project that combined audio, images and text in an attempt to evoke emotion.
