who am i?

My name is Jeremy King and I am a freelance web designer and developer currently living in London, Ontario, Canada! I am a recent Interactive Media Specialist post graduate student (advanced 3rd year continuing from Interactive Media Design and Production) at Fanshawe College specializing in web/application design and development.

I have a passion for technology and design which has lead me down an interesting path in my 26 years of life.

In regards to multimedia design and production, I obtained a very wide skill set which includes Video Production, Special Effects Design, 3D Modelling & Animation, Flash Actionscript 3.0 Development and of course Web Design/Development.

Currently I am striving to blend all of my technical and design skills on focusing within the world of web design and development. I am trained in the web languages of OOPHP, HTML, CSS, JS, AS3.0, MXML, XML as well as MySQL Database Design. I also have acquired experience in Zend AMF, general OOP and MVC.

In my spare time I work freelance design/development work for clients, do computer repair work for client through another one of my websites, Forest City Computers, and I am a full time geek, a huge information junkie (Some how I lose countless hours reading articles and watching documentaries on the internet as well as further educating myself on various topics that extend my technical and design skills) and activist (I hate injustice and spend some free time volunteering in local grass roots organizations).<

In addition to my multimedia design skills, I am also a graduate of a 3 year law program, Computer Security & Investigations which I completed at Sir Sandford Fleming College which means that I am experienced in the realm of Advanced Digital Forensics, Penetration Testing, Data Recovery, Intrusion Detection, Computer & Network Security, Risk Management and am experienced in Windows and Linux Operating systems.
