FITB DESIGN

FITB DESIGNWebsite:
http://fitbdesign.com/Description of Project:
I was approached by FITB DESIGN regarding a new redesign. The general design had already been created. However someone with current development knowledge was needed to code it, give consultation on design, create web assets and to see it live. This site features some basic HTML/CSS, a jQuery background image scroll and a dash of social networking connectivity via the Facebook like button api and a link to FITBs Twitter feed.

Bridges Canada (Bridges to Learning)Website:
http://www.bridgesconference2010.com/Description of Project:
This was a collaboration project between myself, Damon Muma and Andrew Xuereb for Bridges Canada (dealing in assistive technologies for educational purposes). We were approached by Anne Hill on behalf of Bridges Canada to design and develop a website that could be used to display content from the Bridges 2010 Conference which included summaries of the talks, print assets as well as video shot from the conference.
CosmoMentum BETA
Client:
Thesis Project 2011Website:
http://cosmomentum.comDescription of Project:
Cosmomentum was my third year thesis project. It was the culmination of 3 months of work. The idea behind the site was to create a social networking platform that enabled people to share projects with people on the internet in order to recruit members to the project from around the world as well as generate buzz. This was to be somewhat of a Kickstarter for grassroots movements/projects where the goal was not to raise money but to find the people power necessary to see the project to it\'s completion. The site itself is still in an alpha stage, is live and contains a separate promotional site with promotional material about the project which includes a promotional video.
Music Book
Client:
School ProjectWebsite:
#Description of Project:
Music Book was a working prototype of a social networking music sharing website. The site allowed users to upload music their music, information about themselves, images to their profile as well as connection with other members of the site through the friend feature. More than anything else, this was an exercise in combining web technologies along with PHP/AJAX in conjunction with a database to create a full featured and fully realized product.
The Insurance Exchange
Client:
The Insurance ExchangeWebsite:
http://www.theinsuranceexchange.ca/travel/travel_insurance.phpDescription of Project:
The Insurance Exchange was looking for a page to advertise their travel insurance options to the public. John Stirling\\\'s requests included a video with script already in place and a page displaying the video with a couple accompanying links with a design that was aligned to the company\'s already solidified branding and colour scheme. This project required some green screen work to be done and some video/audio editing as well as some After Effects work in addition to the traditional web development required to build the page.
Forest City Computers
Client:
Forest City ComputersWebsite:
http://www.forestcitycomputers.com/Description of Project:
Forest City Computers is a website that I created while in MMDP to direct potential customers to regarding my computer repair services that I offer. This is something that I had been doing years before MMDP while I was in Computer Security & Investigations and decided to create a brand out of my services in order to advertise myself more effectively to the London community.
Reticulating Splines
Client:
Jeremy KingWebsite:
http://regnr8.comDescription of Project:
Before there was REGNR8 designs, there was Reticulating Splines. HTML & CSS mixed with a little JS and imagination resulted in the first live version of my portfolio. Everything was created by the imagination and finger tips of myself right down to the logo and branding. For those curious about the name, it was inspired by the classic Maxis game, Sim City 2000.
Vitamin Superstore Redesign
Client:
School ProjectWebsite:
#Description of Project:
Vitamin Superstore was a redesign assignment of an actual site bearing the same name. This site design was made primarily in PS. This exercise in design resulted in the image you see above. Even though it was coded for basic functionality it never really left the design stage.

Alibi Roadhouse Redesign #2
Client:
School ProjectWebsite:
http://www.alibiroadhouse.com/Description of Project:
This is the second redesign I did of the Alibi Roadhouse's original website. As I had commented on a previous version of my portfolio, "With a fresh new design, the Alibi Roadhouse would be better able to attract the eye to what they do best: food! This design offers simple navigation while at the same time containing all of the information one needs in order to become aquainted with the restaurant. Menus, Prices and Directions! All are accessable from the home page."
Alibi Roadhouse Redesign #1
Client:
School ProjectWebsite:
http://www.alibiroadhouse.com/Description of Project:
It's been said that "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery". I'll leave it to you to decide what that means. But in it, I have learnt a valuable life lesson on sharing designs with others as a student. This was one of my redesigns for the Alibi Roadhouse. A local restaurant I chose to do a redesign on, for a school project.
Comic Wizard Application Support Site
Client:
School ProjectWebsite:
#Description of Project:
circa 2009, "After creating the branding and the Comic Wizard iPhone application demo, the next step was to create the support site. The site needed a to be a design solution that reflected the design and feel of the application while at the same time offering the functionality required for a technical support website. The result was an easy to navigate site that successfully marketed the iPhone application while at the same time offering the technical support required from such a site."
